Good read for pottery collectors

There is a book out titled "Ceramics in America 2006" edited by Robert Hunter. If you can get a copy it is well worth the read.
In particular are two articles in this volume. One is an article on Dave titled "Beneath His Magic Touch: The Dated Vessels of the African-American Slave Potter Dave" by Arthur Goldberg and James Witkowski. The other is an article by John Burrison (who wrote the Georgia pottery book "Raised in Clay"). It is titled "Fluid Vessel : Journey of the Jug". This article delves into, amoung other things, the origin of Edgefield Face Jugs.
Both of these are very good reads and I recomend the book highly.
